Oklahoma Lawyers for Children Presents The National Association of Counsel for Children's "Red Book" Training on Child Welfare Law & Practice.

The NACC is the only organization which certifies practitioners in Child Welfare Law & Practice. This full day CLE is designed for practitioners representing Children, Parents and State Agencies.

Break out sessions covering legislative updates and recent case law, Youthful Offender and Delinquent Child law, Understanding IPCP's in Juvenile Court, Indian Child Welfare Acts, Juvenile Judge's Panel, and includes 1 hour of Ethics: "Ethical Responsibilities in Representing an Older Child that Wants to Return Home to an Unsafe Environment."

  • CLE Credit Comments: This CLE is being submitted for 8 hours of CLE which includes 1 hour of Ethics. Pursuant to Title 10A, all practitioners in Juvenile Court are required to have a minimum of 6 hours of Juvenile Law training each year beginning January 1 of each calendar year.
