As we approach the five-year mark of Superstorm Sandy and its consequences and confront the increasingly severe impact of climate-related weather events, this conference will focus on equity, accessing community-based knowledge, and incorporating community voices in policy making on climate resilience. The program will include four panel discussions o the topics of Governance for Resilience; Waterfront Resilience: Coastal Protection, Restoration, and Retreat; Rebuilding as Resilience; and lessons Learned and thePath Forward, as well as a conversation with NYC's Chief Resilience Officer, Daniel Zarrilli.
