Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender seniors are particularly vulnerable to housing instability because of disproportionate levels of poverty and lack of family support. The sole significant asset of many seniors is their home and there are many perils that can result in the erosion of home equity and loss of the home entirely. This CLE focuses on home ownership in the aging LGBT community and preserving the asset for the benefit of the senior during their lifetime while considering their wishes in the disposition of the asset upon death.
