Free CLE training seminar for the CLARO Consumer Debt Clinics. Pro bono volunteer lawyers must serve a minimum total of six hours at one of the CLARO clnics (one in each borough of NYC - see registration form for locations and hours of the clinics). CLARO volunteers provide limited-scope legal advice to pro se litigants in consumer debt cases. CLARO volunteer lawyers are NOT required to provide legal assistance of any kind outside of the CLARO clinic session. Seminar is at the Queens County Bar Association which is nearby to LIRR, E, F and J subways. Refreshments and free limited parking available. CLARO volunteers may be eligible for pro bono CLE service credits. Malpractice coverage provided to CLARO volunteers.
