An Introduction to New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) and a Substantive Training on Matrimonial Law

This program provided an introduction to the many pro bono programs offered by New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) and provided an introduction to Matrimonial & Family Law matters. The substantive training covered key issues in Uncontested and Contested Divorce, touching on child support and custody, and what to expect when taking on a matrimonial matter. Participants learned how to find pro bono matters of interestand how to support their pro bono work through online resources including training videos and other introductory materials, as well as model pleadings and other sample documents on probono.net/ny.
