Executed Evictions in NYC Still Falling as a Result of Housing Reforms, Right to Counsel

The Legal Aid Society hailed the success of the newly enacted rent laws, which went into effect on June 14, 2019, and New York City’s Right to Counsel program in housing court, each of which has contributed to a steady decline in executed evictions in New York City, per data from the City, reports the Queens Daily Eagle.
