Bridge the Gap CLE Session IV: Ethics

Bridge the gap between law school and the realities of practicing law through presentations by experienced practitioners and a HANDS-ON 60 hour Pro Bono Practicum that will provide participants with the opportunity to: gain client interviewing skills, represent clients in court, negotiate with opposing counsel, and argue before a judge. Participants are supervised on site by attorneys with expertise in Consumer Debt, Housing, Divorce and Family law.

*In return for CLE credits, participants are required to complete a 60 hour pro bono practicum assisting litigants in NYC Housing, Civil, Family and Supreme Courts within 9 months of training. (Newly admitted attorneys may use pro bono service credits on a carry-over basis).

Recent graduates and newly admitted attorneys must register for at least 3 sessions: Sessions I, II and IV OR Sessions I, III and IV

Experienced attorneys may register for one or more sessions and must serve 20 pro bono hours in return for the CLE credits received per session. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST ATTEND THE ETHICS PORTION OF THE PROGRAM.

This course is appropriate for both newly admitted and experienced attorneys.
