Managed Long-Term Care (MLTC) has been mandatory for dual eligibles needing home care in NYC and several other counties for over a year. We'll cover the differences between the various types of Medicaid and Medicare Managed Care plans, what is covered by MLTC, how it interacts with other coverage, enrollment/disenrollment procedures, and due process rights. We'll also cover New York's new demonstration project to integrate payment and coverage for dual eligibles: Fully Integrated Dual Advantage (FIDA) plans. Cost of workshop is $50.00.
