Introduction to the Service Member Civil Relief Act

The training will provide an overview of the key provisions of the Service Member Civil Relief Act (SCRA) and we will discuss how to use the SCRA to protect against default judgments in both civil court and administrative proceedings, to delay civil and administrative proceeding while a protected party is deployed and other important provisions of the law. The training will also examine how the SCRA is applied in Housing Court.
