This program is designed to train legal aid, nonprofit, and pro bono attorneys and allied professionals about substance use disorders impacting clients or family members of clients. Expert faculty will provide an overview of latest developments and the science of substance use disorder and recovery and will also discuss key topics such as addressing discrimination and other barriers, as well as understanding partnership models and best practices for helping clients.

  • Understand discrimination and ways to address discrimination and barriers
  • Focus on the role of the civil legal services attorney
