The New York State Office of Court Administration and Pro Bono Net invite you to a Family Offense Petition Program Advocate training on Monday, September 20, 2021, from 3:00 -4:00 pm Eastern Time.

The New York Family Offense Petition Program (https://www.probono.net/ny/family/fop_project/) is an interactive document assembly program for advocates and legal service providers to quickly and easily create court papers required to request a Temporary Order of Protection (TOP). Speakers will provide an overview of the program and share how advocates can use the Family Offense Petition Program to assist domestic violence litigants.

This webinar will be recorded and is open to 1) court-approved advocates who want a refresher on how the program works and 2) organizations interested in learning about the program and how to become a court-approved advocate.

If you have any questions about becoming a court-approved advocate organization, please contact Lisa C. Smith at LCSMITH@nycourts.gov. For questions about the webinar, please email Jeanne Ortiz-Ortiz at jortiz@probono.net.

We hope you can join us!
