The Victim Rights Law Center invites you to participate in Issue Spotting Sexual Assault Survivors’ Needs: Conducting a Holistic Legal Intake, a free online course that consists of an interactive, web-based training module; a series of short, self-directed assignments; and a live, instructor-led webinar. Conducting an initial interview with sexual assault survivors requires a specialized skill set. This online course explores the impact trauma can have on a sexual assault legal intake and invites participants to develop strategies for working effectively with sexual assault survivors to identify and address their legal needs.

You will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours (Monday to Friday) of completing your registration. The web-based course will not open until Monday, April 8, 2019- you will be sent the link on that date. Please note that space is limited, and that this course is only open to LAV grantees, Rural grantees, sub-grantees, and grant partners.
