This program provides an overview of New York law that affects many low-income tenants, including eligibility for subsidies, procedures for challenging denials and terminations of subsidies, an overview of New York City Housing Authority Administrative (NYCHA) administrative proceedings, and Housing Court practice and procedure basics. Whether you already work in this field or are considering taking a pro bono case, you will benefit from this training.
