The ACLU Immigrant Protection Project (IPP) of Western Massachusetts and Stand With Immigrants invite you to this free webinar. We will discuss: how local volunteers and immigration advocates created the IPP immigration legal assistance program; how lawyers, community organizers, advocates and community members can work together to fill gaps in underserved immigrant communities; and, how others can replicate and sustain this model.
The panelists are Harris Freeman, Professor at Western New England University School of Law and at the University of Massachusetts Labor Center; Megan Kludt, Attorney at Curran & Berger, LLP; Javier Luengo-Garrido, Immigrant Protection Project, American Civil Liberties Union of Massachusetts (ACLUM); and Bill Newman, Director, Western Regional Office, ACLUM.
