Special Education Advocacy: The Role of Psychoeducational and Neuropsychological Evaluations

Topics:
  • Education

A student's psychoeducational or neuropsychological evaluation provides crucial information that, if understood, can guide a lawyer's strategy in advocating for a client's appropriate special education services.

This training, with presentations by two psychologists who have participated in the advocacy process, and two attorneys experienced in incorporating such evaluations into their advocacy strategy, will provide a detailed understanding of these evaluations and the insights they can give us about the needs of our clients and how to utilize them in our advocacy.
