What are the procedures and case law on recusal of a Judge? What are the permissible parameters that apply to USCIS examiners when conducting interviews? Join this panel to obtain advice on how best to manage difficult judges, difficult examiners.

- Gregory Romanovsky (dl), Boston, MA
Gregory Romanovsky was recently selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star. Mr. Romanovsky received his law degree from Boston College Law School in 2000. He currently serves as Chair of the Litigation Committee of the New England Chapter of AILA. Besides his work at Romanovsky Law, Mr. Romanovsky has been working with the Mayor's Office for the City of Boston to provide free immigration consultations to recent immigrants.
- Andres Benach, Washington, DC
Andres Benach is a partner in the employment and immigration practice at Duane Morris LLP, concentrating on litigation matters before the federal and immigration courts, specifically in complex matters regarding removability, inadmissibility, citizenship, and the immigration consequences of criminal convictions. He has over 10 years of immigration experience handling matters involving naturalization, asylum, removal, adjustment of status, and waivers of inadmissibility. Mr. Benach is a graduate of George Washington University Law School and Boston College.
- Rekha Sharma-Crawford, Kansas City, MO
Rekha Sharma-Crawford is a partner with Sharma-Crawford Attorneys at Law, LLC, in Kansas City. She received her J.D. in 1993 from DCL at Michigan State. Rekha started her career as an assistant district attorney and has been practicing complex immigration litigation since 2000. She litigates aggressively on behalf of non-citizens in the Immigration Court, the BIA and the Appeals Court.

The cost for AILA Members is $129 and Non-AILA Members is $199. You can register securely online using a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover card. Please note that if you use the online registration, you do not need to download the registration form and send it in. You can also download and complete the registration form. Please fax the completed form with payment information to the AILA National Office at 202-783-7853. Registration is limited to one participant per connection for the event. Please do not share call-in information with other users, as you will be billed for each connection associated with your name. The deadline to register is Wednesday, March 14, at 11:59 pm eastern time. No refunds will be given after the session has started. Registrants will receive confirmation of their participation via email the day before the session starts. No additional notices will be provided.

Tuition Assistance Program:
Full and partial tuition assistance will be offered for all AILA National CLE programming based on need and availability. Eligible applicants include, but are not limited to, attorneys in non-profit or legal service organizations, attorneys seeking to devote their skills to public service, law students, and unemployed attorneys.
