Low-income workers who have been laid off and denied unemployment benefits often do not have legal representation. With unemployment rates reaching catastrophic proportions, attorneys are needed to provide pro bono representation to claimants seeking benefits to which they are legally entitled.

This CLE seminar is free for attorneys who agree to accept two (2) pro bono unemployment cases through the Queens Volunteer Lawyers Project.

  • CLE Credit Comments: 3.0 credits in Professional Practice (Transitional Program - Valid for All Attorneys) Pro bono volunteers are awarded seminar credits upon completion of one (1) pro bono unemployment case. A light lunch will be served and free parking is available(limited - first serve basis).
