Chan courts Pinoy vote for Broadmoor Police Commission

Among the things that Officer Chan wants to deliver if elected to the Broadmoor Police Commission include opening commission meetings to the public in a more accessible and transparent method, implementing a language access program for the growing minority population of Filipinos/Asians and Hispanics (set mandate for police officers that when they encounter a language barrier, they should ask for an interpreter), creating a program for youth with police participation and supervision, and forming a subcommittee made of residents (precinct captains) who give an on-the-ground assessment of what needs should be addressed around neighborhoods.
