This session will offer participants an opportunity to discuss and develop strategy for achieving language access priorities in the new Administration and the 111th Congress. The workshop will focus on three key policy arenas: health, housing, and the courts. The session will outline possibilities for working effectively within the projected policy and political landscape in Washington after the Inauguration. Expert facilitators will each present short policy memos on the three topic areas and will lead discussions on additional policy goals and directions for advocacy in the first 100 days, the first year, and the first term of the Obama Administration.
