This session will offer participants guidance on how to properly assess and train bilingual staff. Many organizations do not formally assess the bilingual abilities of their staff or provide regular trainings to ensure that their skills are up to par. Speakers will provide examples of formal testing methods and curriculums for trainings of bilingual staff. This session will also include, from the perspective of a legal interpreter/trainer, an overview of various skills required for specific legal settings.
