"Free Tax Help From VITA in Spring City (Now-3/29) — Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) will provide free tax help to the elderly, handicapped and low income every Friday through March 29, at the old SouthEast Bank building in Spring City, between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Those interested are asked to bring a copy of last year’s tax return, all W-2 forms and other pertinent tax information. DAL Cold Hands-Warm Art Exhibit at ArtCrafters (Now-3/23) — ArtCrafters on Market Street in downtown Dayton, will host an exhibit by the Dayton Arts League titled “Cold Hand-Warm Art” beginning Saturday, March 9, and continuing through Saturday, March 23. A Meet the Artists Reception will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 16. Call ArtCrafters at 775-1401 for more information.

RCHS Theatre Department Presents “Twelfth Night” (3/23) — The Rhea County High School Theatre Department will present their production of the musical comedy “Twelfth Night: on Saturday, March 23, at 7 p.m. each evening in the RCHS auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students.

Fly-In, Drive-In Breakfast (3/23) — Civil Air Patrol 2A0 (Mark Anton) will host a Fly-In, Drive-In Breakfast from 7:30 to 11 a.m. at the Mark Anton Municipal Airport, located on New Union Road in Dayton on Saturday, March 23. The all-you-can-eat cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children under 10. The event will be held rain or shine.

Mobile Food Pantry (3/26) — The Chattanooga Area Food bank Mobile Food Pantry will be at Dayton Church of God, located at 3314 Rhea County Highway in Dayton, on Tuesday, March 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. Quantities are limited and will be distributed while supplies last. Those attending are asked not to arrive earlier than 4:30 to allow room for the delivery trucks to unload and leave. Recipients must be present to receive food. Patrons receiving food on a recipient’s behalf must present the recipient’s valid I.D., and food stamp card (or disclose recipient’s household income)..."
