This is not so when millions of Americans forgo their legal rights because they believe the system is unaffordable. This is not so when our children, the future of our country and our veterans, the blood of our country, are abandoned, isolated and forgotten. This is not so when the current administration plans to defund the single largest source of funding for legal services to our nation’s poor, with devastating repercussions on victims of domestic violence, active-duty and veteran military personnel, disaster victims and people on the brink of homelessness..."
