Clerk’s Office Expanding Self Help Services to Apopka

The Orange County Clerk of Courts in partnership with the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) is expanding its Self Help Center to Apopka in order to bring access to justice closer to more people who may be in need of legal assistance.

With a population of nearly 50,000 and a land mass of 24 square miles, Apopka is the second largest city in Orange County and the Self Help Center can provide much needed low-cost attorney consultations for anyone who can’t afford an attorney.  The Apopka site will now be the second location to offer Self Help services.

The Self Help Center was a major priority for Clerk Tiffany Moore Russell who launched the center in 2015 at the Orange County Courthouse in downtown Orlando to help underserved customers in need of legal assistance..."
