Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida (CLSMF) Hosts Free Legal Advice Clinics For Homeless Veterans

(Orlando, FL) Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida (CLSMF) will host a free legal advice clinic for homeless veterans from 10 a.m. to 2p.m. on March 8, 2017. The clinic will take place at CLSMF's Orlando office, located at 122 East Colonial Dr., Suite 200 Orlando, FL 32801.

Low Income veterans will receive legal advice from volunteer attorneys regarding civil matters such as family law, consumer, bankruptcy, housing, driver license issues and expungement. CLSMF has partnered with the 9th Circuit, Office of the Public Defender to provide advice regarding criminal issues as well. Veterans attending the clinic will also be screened for VA benefits and discharge upgrades. Free food and toiletries will be given away at the event.

CLSMF is a nonprofit law firm that provides free legal assistance and advocacy to assist Central Florida's low-to moderate-income residents in obtaining and maintaining the basic necessities of life: food, shelter, healthcare, safety and education. CLSMF fields 28,000 calls for help every year and provides legal information and education in a 12-county service area.
