Pro Bono Net’s Liz Keith will participate in a panel on “The Move to Mobile” during the 2012 TIG Conference, which takes place Jan. 11-13.  The TIG Conference is held by the Legal Services Corporation, and is the only national event focused exclusively on the use of technology in the legal aid community. In addition to mobile, topics covered will include new technology trends, online intake triage, eLawyering, document management systems, information security, rural service delivery innovations and challenges, online video, and more.

Other Pro Bono Net staff traveling to Albuquerque for the conference are Allison McDermott, Deputy Director; Jim Wiegand, Technology Director; and Jillian Thiel, LawHelp Program Associate.

“The Move to Mobile: Mobile Web, Native Apps and Mobile Strategies,” takes place on Jan. 12 at 2:15. In addition to Liz Keith, who is Pro Bono Net’s LawHelp Program Manager, presenters include Kathleen Caldwell of Pine Tree Legal Assistance, Abhijeet Chavan of Urban Insight and Gwen Daniels of Illinois Legal Aid Online.

Also on the 12th, Pro Bono Net staff will present a LawHelp Networking Session at 4 p.m.

In addition, there will be a LawHelp Interactive training session on January 9-10, at the conference location. LawHelp Interactive is Pro Bono Net’s national online legal document assembly service. These trainings are free to participating legal aid programs and their court partners.
