Monday, March 21, 2011

Find out more about the Louisiana Supreme Court litigation in this consumer case here.  Here is a brief description from the site of Public Justice:

"Public Justice is urging the Louisiana Supreme Court to reverse a decision holding that a court asked to enforce an arbitration award cannot “even consider” a consumer’s argument that he never agreed to arbitration, if the consumer did not affirmatively ask the court to vacate the award within 90 days of the arbitration."

Public Justice also thanked Southeast Louisiana Legal Services for its amicus curiae work during the appellate litigation.
