Community Legal Aid (CLA) is the civil legal aid provider for low income and elderly residents of Central and Western Massachusetts (Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire and Worcester counties).  CLA offers a diverse array of opportunities for private bar volunteers interested in assisting clients with their civil legal needs such as housing, family law matters, estate planning, and consumer debt issues. Clients are screened for eligibility by CLA staff and are provided ongoing support as needed.
