Uncompahgre Volunteer Legal Aid refers pro bono cases in Montrose, Ouray, and San Miguel Counties, as well as referring pro bono cases for senior citizens in Delta, Gunnison, and Hinsdale counties.

Uncompahgre Volunteer Legal Aid needs attorneys to provide ongoing consultations and representations (as well as an occasional mediation) for low income eligible individuals who have legal problems with most civil matters. They do not handle criminal, traffic, or fee-generating cases. They conduct a free legal advice night the second Thursday night of each month at the Montrose County Justice Center. Educational sessions and seminars are also conducted upon request.
