4th Annual National Training on the Immigration Consequences of State Criminal Convictions

This training teaches criminal defenders about the intersection between immigration and criminal law & provides practical tips for representing non-citizens--including alternative pleas and safer havens. In addition to substantive learning, participants will network with peers, learn how to train busy colleagues on immigration consequences back home and provide them with technical assistance, and engage in discussions on how to build the infrastructure of their offices to incorporate immigration as part of their defense work.
