United Way of Southeast Louisiana, in conjunction with the Louisiana Association of United Ways, has published a groundbreaking new study of financial hardship in our state. The United Way ALICE Report for Louisiana reveals that 695,719 households -- 40 percent of the state's total -- are ALICE.  More than 208,000 of ALICE households live in southeast Louisiana.
