ABA publishes Directory of Pro Bono Children's Law Programs

The directory includes information about areas of representation, availability of manuals and literature, training sessions, and opportunities for volunteers. It's a valuable tool for networking with other projects, and projects listed in the directory can provide models for groups who are creating new projects (Louisiana has only 2 programs listed, both in New Orleans). The directory is organized alphabetically by state with separate sections for private organizations, law school clinics and law firm programs. Members can find the directory in our Library:

The state's LawHelp site has a new look and a new name. helps low-income people find free legal help and free legal information online. New features include multimedia presentations and more resources in Spanish.
