JOB VACANCY WEBMASTER/INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT SPECIALIST COLUMBIA, SC South Carolina Legal Services (SCLS) seeks a full-time Webmaster/Information Technology Support Specialist to assist the Information Technology Manager with a variety of technology support functions. The position's primary responsibilities will be to monitor, improve and update the performance of South Carolina Legal Services' three websites and SCLS' intranet. Duties include, but are not limited to, designing SCLS' web pages, including graphics, animation and functionality; implementing search engine strategies; promoting client and advocate websites online to increase prominence within the web community; overseeing the day-to-day management of SCLS' websites, maintaining the websites to ensure easy navigation, ensuring that the websites work properly and access to information is efficiently organized, and ensuring all information is relative and current. South Carolina Legal Services is a nonprofit statewide law firm providing free civil legal services (non-criminal) in a wide variety of legal matters to low income residents of South Carolina. South Carolina Legal Services' mission is to provide civil legal services to protect the rights and represent the interests of low income South Carolinians. SCLS has 12 offices. For a job description or more information about South Carolina Legal Services, please visit: QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in information technology with an emphasis on web design and maintenance Strong computer skills Excellent organizational skills and detailed oriented Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills Ability to work flexible hours; statewide, weekend and overnight travel may be required Information technology experience obtained in a legal, non-profit or other professional servicers setting is highly desirable SALARY/BENEFITS: Salary is dependent on experience.
