Attorney Registration Now Open for Lawyers in Libraries 2019!
Lawyers in Libraries is an annual event taking place October 21-26, 2019 in honor of National Celebrate Pro Bono Week. In partnership with the Louisiana State Bar Association, libraries across the state will host attorneys for general “Ask-a-Lawyer” sessions, where patrons can ask legal questions in a one-on-one setting. Alternatively, attorneys may choose to provide presentations or workshops on specific topics (i.e. divorce, wills, etc…) in a classroom setting with opportunities for questions at the end.
