The National Elder Rights Project of the National Consumer Law Center will be holding a free webinar for legal professionals entitled Elder Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation and Clients with Dementia on Thursday, January 24, 2013 from 2:30 pm-4:00 pm Eastern.

The webinar is part of a series that covers legal issues of people with Alzheimer's disease (AD) and their caregivers. Persons with AD are particularly vulnerable to financial exploitation, physical or emotional abuse, and neglect both at home and in care facilities. These webinars, as outlined in the National Plan to Address Alzheimer's Disease, will help ensure that people with AD have their dignity, safety, and rights maintained.

Join the American Bar Association (ABA) Commission on Law and Aging as part of their work in the National Legal Resource Center and the Administration on Aging to talk through what is important for your clients with Alzheimer's and related dementias.

The webinar is for legal professionals on elder abuse, neglect and exploitation vis a vis clients with dementia.

Presenters:
Lori Stiegel, Senior Attorney, ABA Commission on Law and Aging

Additional sponsorship for this Webinar is provided by a grant from the Administration on Aging. This webinar is part of a series of National Elder Rights Training Project webinars for the National Legal Resource Center.
