This complimentary teleconference presents a legal analysis for filing administrative complaints with the Office for Civil Rights of the U.S. Department of Education alleging discriminatory practices by schools resulting in the school to prison pipeline. In particular, the speakers will analyze the application of the disparate impact standard. This presentation launches a new project by the CRLC that will result in systemic complaints around the country and provide opportunities for lawyers to get involved in this important work.
