Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota Pro Bono U Visa/Crime Victim Project

The Center is a non-profit immigration law office serving low-income immigrants in Minnesota. In an effort to build relationships with the local bar and alleviate our case load, we have established a pro bono project for U visa cases. The U visa eligible clients that we normally see are persons who have been victims of domestic violence. Through the Pro Bono U visa / Crime Victim Project, our staff provides CLE eligible training for attorneys, screened cases, and mentorship throughout the case. We have partnerships with certain local shelters who provide advocates for our clients.
