Applications are now being accepted for a Capital Defense & Trial Services Assistant Public Defender. The position will be responsible for litigating capital felony death penalty appeals, and for consulting with, advising and working closely with capital felony trial defense attorneys during the preparation and trial of death penalty cases. The starting salary is $93,005 annually. This is not an entry level position and appropriate capital felony death penalty appellate defense experience is required. Trial experience is desirable.

Requirements: Membership in the Connecticut bar or eligibility to waive in is a prerequisite.
