Excellent position available for an experienced Mitigation Investigator

This position requires 5 plus years experience as a mitigation investigator, a background in social work, mental health, substance abuse or family violence, and a master's degree. A successful candidate must be a team player with a positive attitude who is able to work independently and is computer proficient. Travel within NC is required. The Center for Death Penalty Litigation, located in Durham NC, is the resource center for capital defense attorneys in North Carolina and a vital information clearinghouse for the public, media and state government officials. This position will primarily involve direct casework investigative responsibilities, as well as some support services for death row inmates and their families in North Carolina. The salary range is $40,000 - $55,000 DOE and an excellent benefits package.
