This Court charges the United States death penalty with perverting the course of justice

The mock trial will be held in the auditorium of the Emmanuel Centre


Trial Information
The trial will be presided over by Lord Woolf (former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales), assisted by Geoffrey Robertson QC (founder and joint head of Doughty Street Chambers). Alistair Carmichael MP (Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for the Abolition of the Death Penalty) will host and clerk the trial.

• Professor Julian Killingley (Professor of American Public Law, Birmingham City University)
• Reverend Cathy Harrington (Murder Victims’ Families for Reconciliation)
• Nick Trenticosta (Director of Center for Equal Justice, expert in post-conviction litigation and race issues within the capital system)
• Susana Herrero (US forensic expert with extensive involvement in homicide and capital cases across the US)
