POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT: Capital Appellate Attorney Position

Applications are now being accepted for a capital appellate attorney in the Capital Defense & Trial Services Unit of the Connecticut Division of Public Defender Services.

The attorney will be responsible for litigating capital felony death penalty appeals, and for consulting with, advising and working closely with capital felony trial defense attorneys during the preparation and trial of death penalty cases. This is not an entry level
position and appropriate capital felony death penalty appellate defense experience is required. Attorneys who wish to be considered for the position should forward their resumes, a completed Connecticut Public Defender questionnaire, references and writing
samples no later than June 30, 2009 to:
