MITIGATION SPECIALIST sought for energetic non-profit law firm devoted to capital defense. The position will be based in either the Austin or Houston, but the ability to travel is essential. The successful candidate
will be able to: locate and interview witnesses, develop thorough life histories of the client, request, review and summarize records relevant to mitigation, locate and retrieve documents and other evidence, and assist
attorneys in preparing for evidentiary hearings. Experience and a Master's degree in Social Work are desired, but not necessary, to apply for this
position. Benefits (health insurance and 401K) are included. Salary is $30,000 to $40,000 and is dependent upon experience. The job is open until filled.
