What do I do if I don’t see on these pages the form I need to file?
Are there forms available in other languages?
The interactive questions in Form Help Online can be completed in Spanish. The DC Courts also make available additional forms in other languages, particularly Spanish and Amharic. See here the full list of forms and available languages.
Can I file the form in languages other than English?
With certain limited exceptions, all forms submitted to the court must be completed in English, and foreign language translations of forms are to be used only as guides for people who cannot read the English-language forms they may receive or be required to use. Can I file my court forms online?
No. You may use Forms Help Online to fill out your court forms. But you must file them at court.
How can I follow up on my case?
Please check the Search Cases Online system on the DC Courts website. Or you can check with the respective Superior Court division or the Court of Appeals.
