Description: With the current decline of the economy, the number of cases brought by borrowers or prior owners to challenge the validity of their mortgages or the sale of their property is rising at an unprecedented rate. This seminar will cover the merits of numerous fraud-related challenges that are being raised by plaintiffs and the legal defenses to these causes of action. These actions spur numerous homeowners and lenders to file title insurance claims and we will review legal issues related to whether title insurers will provide coverage against the different causes of action.

Cost:
$30.00 Real Estate Housing and Land Use Section Members and Subscribers
$30.00 Litigation Section Members and Subscribers
$40.00 Non-Section Members
