Cost: $50 to be a Virtual Heart Hero; Free for Virtual Participants

Lawyers Have Heart is the premier athletic philanthropic event led by the greater Washington legal community and brings together more than 300 organizations and over 6,000 runners and walkers in support of the American Heart Association. Since 1991, Lawyers Have Heart has raised over $13 million for the American Heart Association and each year is one of the largest 10K races in the Washington DC area.

This year, the race is virtual! Between noon on Friday, June 12, and 5:00 pm on Sunday, June 14, we invite you to join us in supporting heart health research. We will again field a Washington Council of Lawyers team for this great event. Join us whenever you can for a fun physical activity and to raise money for a good cause. By registering, youre committing to 6.2 or 3.1 miles in honor of heart disease stroke. Run or walk. Outside or on a treadmill. It doesnt matter - how you complete your miles is up to you! All participants receive a 30th-anniversary race medal.

We welcome runners and walkers of any fitness level. Between now and June 12, we will be sharing running routes, training tips, and opportunities for you to engage with healthy living resources during social distancing.
