Washington Council of Lawyers, in partnership with the Council for Court Excellence and other local legal organizations, will be hosting "Meet the Next Chief Judge" on Tuesday, June 9, from 6-7:30 pm. This forum will be a chance for interested members of the public to hear from the three judges who have applied to become the new Chief Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, following the retirement of the Honorable Robert E. Morin as Chief Judge this fall.

The D.C. Judicial Nomination Commission will select the next Chief Judge of the Superior Court from among the following judges, all of whom have applied for the position and have agreed to participate in the forum:

The Honorable Anita Josey-Herring
The Honorable Milton C. Lee, Jr.
The Honorable Lynn Leibovitz
