Immigrant children who have been abandoned, abused, or neglected by one or both of their parents need a lawyer to get special findings from the family court before they can apply for their immigration visa to stay in the U.S. This training will teach MD-barred attorneys how to obtain those special findings along with an order for guardianship or custody.
