Our annual Government Pro Bono Roundtable provides real-world examples of how pro bono work can be a rewarding part of a government attorney career. Join us for a brown-bag lunch discussion filled with tips and tactics for effective pro bono service by government attorneys. You will learn both about established pro bono programs for federal government attorneys, and emerging opportunities for engaging in pro bono work as a D.C. government attorney.

Our expert panel, comprised of government attorneys from different agencies, will share tips for finding pro bono opportunities, and ensuring your pro bono experience is meaningful and productive. You will hear from:

Katie Legomsky, U.S. Department of Justice
Chris Ronne, U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission
Liz Sanger, Federal Trade Commission
Dave Zvenyach, 18F, and former General Counsel for the D.C. Council
Our panel also features Laura Klein, the Pro Bono Program Manager for the U.S. Department of Justice, who will be available to answer questions about doing pro bono work as a federal government attorney.

Our panel will be moderated by Julie Abbate, DOJ attorney, former legal services attorney, and Washington Council of Lawyers board member.

Bring your lunch, a government-issued ID, and all of your questions!
