  • Nonprofit / Community Development

On Wednesday, September 25, 2012, the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Program's Community Economic Development Project will hold a free training on Small Business Legal Issues at the offices of Arnold & Porter. The purpose of the training session is to expand the pool of lawyers prepared to provide pro bono assistance to aspiring and existing entrepreneurs through the Small Business Brief Advice Legal Clinics. This training program, led by attorneys at Arnold & Porter, will focus on business formation, real estate issues, intellectual property considerations, and employment law as they relate to the unique circumstances of small neighborhood-based businesses.

This training is open to all attorneys. We specifically encourage those who wish to volunteer at Small Business Brief Advice Legal Clinics for the first time to attend.
