The Washington Bar Association will be hosting its Tenth Annual Career Fair for Law Students on Saturday, February 23, 2012 from 9:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. The fair will be held at the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. The law school is located at 4340 Connecticut Ave., N.W., Building 52, Washington, D.C. 20008.

We are very excited about the fair and encourage your participation to make this event a success. We need volunteers to assist with set up, registration, resume critique, and mock interviews. The resume critiques and mock interviews will be conducted on site. These law students value the opinion of practicing attorneys, so it is important that we show our support.

In addition, we need employers to interview law students for summer or semester internships, paid or unpaid, with their respective organizations, firms, agencies, associations, and corporations. The current job market is so discouraging for law students, so a face-to-face with a prospective employer is ideal.

If you would like to participate in this event, please email Jay Stewart at wbacareerfair@gmail.com or contact him directly at (202) 642-5488. Thank you in advance for your service.
