This training is for intermediate to advanced immigration attorneys who handle family based and removal cases, and is specifically geared to help immigration practitioners understand the tax issues that may affect their clients' cases. During this webinar, you will learn how to recognize suspect tax returns as well as tax issues that will cause problems in cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, consular processing and naturalization cases.

  • Sam Rock, Attorney at Law & Principal - Rock & Hardin
    Sam Rock practices torts, immigration, and tax law. He specializes in income tax issues for the foreign born. He is a frequent speaker and has published articles for AILA and tax analysis on issues relating to tax preparer diligence, tax fraud, and tax issues at the intersection of tax and immigration. He testified as an expert witness in a taxpayer privacy case that went to the Colorado Supreme Court. He has law offices in Atlanta and Lexington, KY, and is a principal in a professional tax service named Rock & Hardin.
